BCBA
I have been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2012, starting as a behavior assistant and growing through different roles over the years before becoming a BCBA in 2019. I completed my graduate studies at the University of South Florida, and through my experience, I’ve developed a well rounded understanding of working with children, families, and teams.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups and across different settings, which has helped me build a flexible and individualized approach to care. I really love working with young children and helping support their growth in meaningful ways. I have experience with communication, daily living skills, building new skills, and teaching replacement skills that support safer and more independent behavior, while collaborating closely with families to make sure what we’re doing is practical and helpful in everyday life.
As a leader, I strive to create a supportive and positive environment for both families and staff. I value open communication, teamwork, and helping others grow in their roles. I believe that strong leadership comes from listening, staying open-minded, and leading by example.
I also place a strong emphasis on assent, consent, and compassionate care in my practice. It is important to me that the children I work with feel safe, respected, and heard, and that services are always delivered in a way that honors their dignity and individuality.
I’m also a mom of two who I absolutely adore, and being a parent has given me a deeper perspective on the importance of patience, consistency, and trust. I try to bring that same understanding into my work and create a supportive, respectful environment for clients, families, and staff. I value collaboration and believe the best outcomes come from working together. I enjoy learning from others, keeping an open mind, and building positive relationships with everyone involved in the client’s care.
Lead RBT
My journey in working with children started in the school setting, where I served as a paraprofessional supporting students with a wide range of learning and behavioral needs. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for individualized support and the impact that patience, consistency, and compassion can have on a child’s growth.
That experience led me to pursue a career in ABA, where I became a Registered Behavior Technician. Through hands-on work in the field, I’ve had the opportunity to support children in building meaningful skills while also growing my passion for creating structured, positive environments that truly make a difference.
As I’ve continued to grow professionally, I’ve taken a strong interest in supporting staff, developing training systems, and helping build a supportive team culture. I value creating spaces where both children and staff feel encouraged, understood, and set up for success.
Let’s talk about how we can support your child’s growth together.
